THE LORD WHO HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES |
He is the LORD
"Who forgives all your iniquities; AND HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES." -Ps. 103:3
Thanks for your response to my recent article. Just to let you know, I also suffer from a skin disease,
but I still believe God heals TODAY!!! Now, I don't presume to be an expert on faith and divine healing,
but I do know that Jesus said that if you have faith enough, you can speak to mountains (of sickness,
disease, whatever) and it will be moved. Jesus also commended many who had faith for their healing,
and even told the Centurion that he had Great Faith, which resulted in his request for healing for his
servant being granted.
I consider myself, perhaps, a strong believer, and I'm still sick with a skin
disease. This doesn't change the fact that God is still able and willing to
heal. And even though I consider myself a "strong believer", I do not yet
believe I have "perfect" faith, which obviously results in me not being able
to obtain all that God has for me at this time. But faith comes by hearing the
Word of God, so I am continuing to mature in my understanding of His Word
so that my faith can increase, so that I can be more beneficial to the Kingdom of God; not so much for myself, but for being a vessel for God's Message or a light through which others can see the Way to Salvation.
One man prayed, "I believe, help my unbelief." In other words he was saying, I know you can heal, but
my faith is weak, please help my weak faith. And God did. So many refuse to acknowledge their weak
faith and they try to act super-spiritual, as strong men and women of God, but some of them don't
even believe God wants to heal today. And one man brought his son to the disciples, but they were
unable to cast the demon out, Jesus said, because of their little faith. So it may not always be weak faith
on part of the one asking for prayer, but healing or deliverance may not occur because of the little faith
of the one praying for the sick or trying to minister deliverance to the individual.
And you ask, "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SICK CHRISTIANS?????" Well, we obviously
know it is the will of God to save whoever will come to Him, but why are there SO MANY
UNBELIEVERS IN THE WORLD? There is so much confusion in the Body of Christ over whether
or not God wants to heal that the level of faith in the Word of God concerning Divine Healing is
obviously very low. There is much confusion and division in the World (not in the Church) over
whether or not Jesus is God, and the end result is that people question rather than trust in Jesus as
Savior. "If Jesus is really the Savior of the World," they say, "why does so much evil exist?" But we,
however know that so much evil exists because people are operating under the lordship of Satan,
and not the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In the same way, many in the Body of Christ believe in their
sickness more than they believe in God's willingness and ability to heal them today.
In the final portion of your mail you wrote, "...its hard to tell a prisoner that
God will fix all your problems when I can hardly walk because of disease
problems."
The Word of God says, "ALL WHO CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.
And all who put their trust in Him will not be put to shame (will not be disappointed over so great a
Savior)."
Should we stop telling the World about the Savior because the World is full of sin? Rather, we should
tell the World ALL THE MORE about the Savior. And we should tell the Body of Christ ALL THE
MORE about Jesus the Healer because the Body of Christ is so full of sickness and
disease. Let me remind you, we aren't called to be messengers of our conditions, we are called to be messengers of the
Word of God. The Word of God says:
"The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of ALL THEIR TROUBLES."
-Ps. 34:17

We teach that God forgives ALL OUR SINS, but doesn't heal all our diseases, but the Word of God
says in the same way that He FORGIVES ALL YOUR DISEASES, He HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES!!! Complete Salvation!!!
"He sent His Word, and HEALED THEM, and delivered them from their destructions [things
that would destroy them]." -Ps. 107:20
"And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I WILL DELIVER YOU, and you shall glorify me."
-Ps. 50:15
It is in God's best interest to heal because healing glorifies the Healer!!!
"In the day of my trouble I will call upon You: for You WILL answer me."
-Ps. 86:7
"Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved:"
-Jeremiah 17:14
"Then He called His...disciples together, and gave them POWER AND AUTHORITY OVER ALL [ALL] DEVILS, and to cure diseases. AND HE SENT THEM TO PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND TO HEAL THE SICK."
-Luke 9:1-2
As disciples gathered together, we have been given power and authority over ALL DEVILS, and power
and authority to cure diseases. Our commission is NOT ONLY to preach the Kingdom of God, but also TO
HEAL THE SICK. THAT'S WHAT WE'VE BEEN "SENT" TO DO.
"O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You have healed me." -Psalm 30:2
"I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."
-Ps. 34:4
"Then they cried out to the Lord IN THEIR TROUBLE, and He delivered them out of their
distresses." -Ps. 107:6
Don't preach your condition, preach the solution, the Word of God, Jesus Christ, the Healer, Yesterday,
Today, and Forever!!!!
